Celtic defender Glenn Loovens insists that he and his team-mates will ignore what is happening at rivals Rangers to concentrate solely on keeping the pressure on at the top of the Scottish Premier League table.

The Parkhead club were at one stage 15 points behind the Light Blues, albeit with two games in hand, but with the leaders stuttering and Celtic recovering their form by winning their last five league games, that gap has been reduced to four points.

However, Loovens, 28, says that the Hoops are simply looking to keep their good form going.

"I think that's football for you," the Netherlands international told Celtic View.

"We don't try to look too much to them.

Ourselves

"We just focus on our own performances as we can't affect what they are doing.

"I think we need to look at ourselves and make sure we win every game and try to put pressure on them.

"You are always happy if they drop points but we can't affect what they're doing so we are better concentrating on our own performances, making sure we keep winning and putting the pressure on them.

"We have to treat as a final and make sure we win it.

"Then we can look to the next game."

Another idiot mouthpiece! Not as bad as the Kayal quotes but I'd still like this pinned up in the dressing room.

(sorry for my ignorance but when copying things from news articles, how is it you make it look like you are replying with quotes so it's seperated?)

These people seem to think they're going to win the porkheid clash, I think it'll be a draw, but I'd laugh myself into the grave if we won it, just with the sorry excuses the next day.

Once you copy and paste then you select the text.(make it blue) then you press the button wrap quote tags around selected text which is situated directly above the reply area.It is the one that looks like a cartoon text box. Once you have wrapped the quote tags around the text it means that it is not counted in the letters you want to answer with so you have to answer with at least 10 characters.

:thup::thup:

If you press control alt and use 2 smilies it seems to work as well.
