What's been happening?

Recommended Posts

I go away to Brazil for a couple of weeks and we've a healthy 12 point lead and I come back and it's down to 4. What's been happening? Is it the Naismith effect? Are we going to continue to drop points now or is it a temporary blip?

It's an even bigger shock to the system than the weather!

We've been shit Bluedell. That is about the sum of it.

Definitely the Naismith effect. We have lost whatever creativity we had with him gone. We have created very few chances since his injury and it is showing. Sunday's performance was abysmal in all honesty, although a draw would still have been a fairer result.

I fear we may continue to drop points. We badly need to give a team a doing to get back on track.

Edu has to go. Someone on this site said that they don't think he's even a decent footballer.

Understatement of the year and Ally has to begin to show some mettle as the manager, because if this continues, we will drop lots more points.

Get the point Ally???

Odd - Edu's been getting a fair chunk of praise this season. Suddenly he's public enemy number 1 again?

His main praise has come from the manger, who picks him, although a few others have told of his exceptional harrying game, many, many more have pointed out that he is pretty shite.

Surely we can find better than him?

Quite a lot of folk on here have praised his displays, particularly in the October period. Indeed, I and a few others gave him MOTM in one or two games. Now he seems to be the scapegoat again.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the recent criticism of his displays (our entire midfield has been non-existent since Naisy' injury), but do find it curious given what appeared, to me, to precede it.

It's true, he did improve for a short period, but I'd say he's gone backward since then and surely if he's not perfoeming, he should be replaced.

That's something I don't like in football, that if you're a regular, you stay in the team regardless of how good you do.

I'd also say that his improvement was from a bad starting point and he hardly set the heather alight when he did have his purple patch.
