craig 5,199
In this case? When they have half a dozen strikers already? Methinks we were linked with Brozek, Salihi and Uchebo first, then they jumped into the queue. That said, who knows what the Scottish press reports and what is true anyways. Us being linked does not mean that Celtic werent already interested, does it.... it could very easily be that they are going about their business quietly whilst we are more vocal of our interest in players. Uchebo I was going to give you.... but the same could be said for him. They could have been interested even before we had him on trial for a day... Zappa 0
and what would happen if Norwich did accept the offer...would we turn around and say no,we were only trying to dupe our support? It's a fair point, but Norwich have been saying he's not for sale since well before we were reported to be making a bid.

Craigy1881 79
There's a million excuses I am pretty sure if that was the case McCoist would quit, who in the right mind would work under those conditions.
Bears 0
I am pretty sure if that was the case McCoist would quit, who in the right mind would work under those conditions. Ok, do you honestly think we could afford him? Would he leave Norwich who are doing very well in the EPL to come to us? Could we afford the fee for an EPL teams captain who is playing well.? Could we afford to pay a wage to him that would make him want to move to the SPL and The Rangers? Come on mate, wake up and smell the coffee

Danny 0
Jela supposedly only left Goodison to go and freshen up. Everton are saying he'll be back to complete the deal. That's quite bizarre. Why do you leave a medical centre to 'freshen up'? One of the oddest things I've heard.
