She was elected as an MSP on the South of Scotland list at the last election. She writes a lot of his speeches. Many Gersnetters will remember that Joan McAlpine was the Deputy Editor of ra Herald for five years. Along with Editor, Mark Douglas-Home and other Deputy Editor, Kevin McKenna; they took the Herald's daily circulation from 115,000 to less than 70,000 in that period. McKenna was a former Editor of ra Sellik View and convert to catholicism, Mark Douglas-Home is married to Daily Mail columnist and Falls Road born'n'bred, Colette Douglas-Home. Other Salmond long term advisors on this matter, are the O'Hara brothers, Brendan and Diarmid. And they still claim they are prevented from getting to the top of their profession because they are catholic. What a load of crap. As for the wee fat Hitler I have noticed he's not ducking and weaving with the same dexterity. Maybe it is the huge majority he has that has made him careless whatever it is I hope it continues and derails his push for independence which imo would be terrible for Scotland.
