Ergatrude 0
Swedish hopeful Joe Sise has failed to earn a permanent stay at Scottish Premier League giants Rangers. The striker had been looking to earn a deal at Ibrox after finding himself out of contract at Hamlstad and he is available as a free agent. Rangers were happy to take a look at him, with Ally McCoist reluctant to close any transfer doors, but the Glasgow-based outfit have decided against putting terms to Sise. A statement released on the club's official website read: "Rangers have ended their interest in Swedish U21 striker Joe Sise and the player has now left Scotland. Decent "Sise had been on a training and match trial with the Light Blues after some favourable reports on his performances in the Swedish league. "The giant striker trained with the top team at Murray Park and then featured in a closed door game on Tuesday. "Sise did reasonably well and showed some decent touches, but manager Ally McCoist has decided that he will not progress the matter." Reports suggest Hansa Rostock are also keen on Sise, with it expected that the 21-year-old will now try his luck in Germany. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7289378/?
Guest Dutchy
Obviously he wasn't good enough and it also shows that we're not going to go desperate on signings. Or, CW might have just offered half'a'croon?

Guest Dutchy
I understand your point, but wouldn't it be better to wait on the right player, instead of another Rothen???

Yes it definitely would, which is why I'm not too bothered, January is not far away.

Zappa 0
What a surprise. Have we actually ever signed a player that we have brought in on 'trial' I think we quite often sign players for the youths after trials. The last one for the first team was maybe Kerkar?
Whosthedado 1,742
Kerkar has hardly made a massive impact though:devil: but I suppose he is one we did actually sign
bluedan 93
Not that bothered about it. Extra back up would of course be nice but this could be a great chance for Fleck to show what he can do in the Naismith role and we also have Hemmings there too. We have a bit of a buffer as far as points go so now now is a good chance to ease our own youngsters in.
