der Berliner 4,146
... or so sayest The Scottish Sun HEARTS last night sensationally told their top earners to find new clubs. Jambos chiefs finally came clean and admitted they want to flog their leading players. SunSport can reveal that winger David Templeton has already been offered to Rangers for a cut-price £500,000 fee. Others will go in January as Hearts, owned by Vladimir Romanov desperately try to overcome a crippling cash crisis. Bosses also warned players they do not know when Romanov will cough up unpaid wages. The bombshell came at a crisis meeting yesterday after a group of senior stars demanded answers. Instead they were told to start looking for a move. Besides Templeton, a string of other players are also sure to attract bids. Bristol City will be encouraged to step up interest in Ryan Stevenson. Hearts will also accept offers for Ian Black, Andrew Driver, John Sutton and Marius Zaliukas. The news is also bound to cast doubt on the future of boss Paulo Sergio. It would appear to confirm that Romanov is not prepared to put any more of his money into the club. There are now real fears about the very existence of the 127-year-old club. This would be strange. Us with all the negative reports of "unpaid bills" and frozen money still signing a player. Then again, he'd have to be a freebie ere we get him straight away. (On a sidenote, he seems to favour the Hooped Horrors, despite his dad placing a "Cooper" as his middle-name.)
metlika 0
Tbh I would consider it but doubtful it would happen. Yeah his mother is a tim supporter and he stayed with her when his mum and dad split up and his dad is a big Rangers fan.
Guest Dutchy
The Jambos have been in a far bigger debt than us for years now, it's just the owner of the club so happened to be the owner of the bank that held the debt. Land is more important to these money people than any sort of tradition. I've been asking Hearts fans for years if they're worried about Romanov being in charge of the club, but they all seemed to be in denial and said all is going well. Well not so well now, eh? I don't think we should bother about Templeton, there's bound to be much better than him 'floating' around the other European leagues.
Juancornetto 1
How surprised would you be to see Ian Black in a Celtic shirt in January?

andrew_2010 0
John Sutton back to Motherwell? Could help them maintain second place!
laudrup11 0
I have a sneaky feeling the Bheasts will get a few of the Hearts Squad if they were to have their contracts terminated reason for this is I have a feeling Jim Jefferies would be man to replace TLB when Motherwell finish him off on Sunday
ian1964 10,870
If this was to be true, would these players be free to move to other clubs immediately or would they have to wait until the Jan transfer window?
GovanAllan 0
Don't know about Templeton to be fair only does it spells from what I've seen. Sutton as cover for the front 2 that I would go for, big strong lad who knows where the goal is. The amount of chances we create he would score goals.
