pete 2,499 Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 Just watched an Interview with him, where he said he decided to come back to Holland because he went to his kids school where one of them was giving a speech. He realised he couldn't understand a word they were saying and felt they were losing their Dutch identity and becoming too Scottish. He said he didn't have a job at first until he got a phone call from Alex McLeish who asked him to Scout Holland and Belgium for him and he has been doing that since covering many games every week.
