Jim1955 12
It has been reported that 2 new companies have been registered today. "Glasgow Rangers Football Club Ltd" and "Glasgow Rangers Ltd" Stv report that Rangers say it's nothing to do with them. Who knows?
Bears 0
Just someone jumping on the bandwagon. If we do get fucked by the tax thing i’m guessing the guy is hoping to gain out the names. Nothing to worry about

Jim1955 12
I don't disagree with you, but, it would seem prudent to do something to protect the brand, just in case.

Who knows?I hope to God that this is not in readiness for a new company after administration to be re-born as 'Glasgow' rather like 'Airdrieonians' became 'Airdrie Utd.' .The name of our club has always been THE RANGERS F.C. You would never get Arsenal becoming London Arsenal.

I think that you only can lawyer up in the event that you have trademarks or copyright on the names or if you start trading in a similar industry with similar name. Could be wrong though.
Zappa 0
Stinks of some smart arse trying to limit our naming options if CW did have to rename the company, but the likelyhood of having to rename the club is probably quite slim anyway.
Darthter 542
Most likely someone wanting to make a fast buck.....register the logical names, then sell them back to CW if required for a tidy profit. Happens a lot with internet domain names.
