Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic declared a doubt for Hearts clash

What is Healy's club career record ? Last I checked we werent an international team.....

Anyone can use statistics to prove a point - and I am sure Healy's club record isnt anywhere near as good as Jelavic's.

Harder to score for your country than your club. I'm not saying Healy's the better player, I'm just saying I don't agree with dismissing his career 'just like that'.

I agree, you cant just dismiss his career as he has undoubtedly done it for his country.

However, I dont think it is necessarily harder to score for country - there are lots of games these days against the likes of Liechtenstein (ok, bad example....) and San Marino etc.

I think it is as hard to score for club as it is for country and vice versa. That also depends on who you play for though. Messi scoring for Barca is easier than Messi scoring for Argentina. But that doesnt mean this is always the case.

Taking that example further, Croatia are a far far better team than Norn Iron, yet Healy's scored far more in said team.

Meh, apples and oranges I suppose.

He's scored 35 goals in 91 appearances for Norn Iron. Jelavic has scored 2 in 15 for Croatia.

Jelavic is of course the better player, on form, but I don't think it's fair to dismiss Healy's career in comparison.

Who's only talking about goals? Not me.
