Exclusive: Whyte talks to STV at 6pm

I honestly think Whyte does not have the money he says he does. But! I do think he is a Rangers supporter and trying to lead Rangers in the right direction. I honestly don't think he is looking for a profit out of rangers. I still think he is a patsy for King though that lies in the back of my head.

What I did see of his perfomance in the first scheduled part didn't fill me with confidence, but that's the way football has gone. Businessmen have come into football due to the vast potential TV money.

This appears to be what we end up with.

He has said that in a few years time he would like to see some return for his money, but not to the detriment of the shareholders, fans or the club.

I personally don't want a sugar daddy owning Rangers. I want someone to put Rangers on the right track to being able to stand on it's own two feet. So never again will we end up in the mess we are in at the moment because of some egomaniac.

I agree we really have to start living within our means as CW has said. We may take a step backwards for a year or 2 but if we get our shop in order then when other teams are forced to do it we can run home our advantage. It is up to CW to make the club as commercial as possible and get cash flowing in from commercial ventures. The Rangers pools used to be the biggest in Britain even far bigger than the Manu pools. In this world of poker and chance games I feel we should look down that avenue as well as other avenues.
