Gazza_8 233
About to become the US goalkeeping coach according to the BBC. When I was young I wanted to be a GK and loved Chris Woods. Anyone remember the red GK top from the 1988 season? That was my first Rangers top.
craig 5,199
I wanted to be a GK too..... but I must be a touch older than you as I wanted to be Pat Jennings. I remember that top. Woods was a top, top keeper and we have been blessed with them since his arrival with Goram, Klos, McGregor et al.
metlika 0
Never wanted to be a keeper but wasn't bad and played in goals during school for a season, during the Goram period, never got a goalie top, never will.
Danny 0
Biggest thing I remember about Woods, other than the fact he was bloody good, was in the 89/90 season he was injured by our very own Kenny McDowall on the opening day of the season, then got injured later on a couple of months later. Pretty injury disrupted season he had there.

Gazza_8 233
Know who I liked but who I reckon got a pretty raw deal? Lionel Charbonnier. Aye he was good but mental. His pre-game ritual was to kiss both posts he was keeping goal at.
Gribz 966
Even our sub keepers have been good. Snelders, Jesper Christiensen, Watterus......

So you were just like Ray Clemence I only really remember Clemence for his howler in the Scotland v England game. Good keeper to be fair but that howler will never die.
GovanAllan 0
And wanted to be the guy who scored that goal but only after he left them.
