Zappa 0
Looking forward to the Radio Scotland phone-in. The Yahoos will be going spare. Someone should phone in and point out that even if their IRA songs could be deemed "political", that singing or displaying political messages at a match is also against UEFA regulations.
Jim1955 12
This'll be to do with the furore over Rememberance Day Poppies.
Zappa 0
I emailed Traynor's your call program with this - I'd like to point out that many Celtic fans are claiming the IRA and PIRA related songs sung and chants shouted by sections of their support are "political" and not "sectarian", but singing, chanting or displaying POLITICAL messages at matches is also breaking UEFA's regulations. It's there in black and white specified as something which is forbidden. Check out the UEFA rules & regulations. That'll get the yahoos going if they read it out on air...

Jim1955 12
Hilarious, one clown threatened to report Jim Traynor and Tom English to Ofcom for their bigoted comments, ie disagreeing with him.
Zappa 0
Hilarious, one clown threatened to report Jim Traynor and Tom English to Ofcom for their bigoted comments, ie disagreeing with him. Is that the muppet that said he'd be taking action for their "slanderous comments" or something like that?
Jim1955 12
Yeah, he was one of the last callers and both Traynor and English struggled not to burst out laughing.
Zappa 0
Aye, he was comical. A complete idiot. I liked how he was trying to put on a well-to-do accent, but kept slipping out of it. Funny as fuck.
