Zappa 0
I also wonder what chance he has of playing for us when he comes back? I suppose 50/50 would be good, but as longas we're winning, he may get a better opportunity, or he may not. I'd guess that it'll depend on his attitude and how hard he works.
Zappa 0
I've seen Albion Rovers 22 times (I think) in the past 2 seasons. Not to bad considered they've played about 40ish home games in that time. That's definately more than the occasional game. So you've watched a fair amount of 3rd division football which is a poorer standard than 2nd division football. Cowdenbeath were in the first division last season and are doing very well in the 2nd division so far this season.

Do you think there's a huge difference between 2nd and 3rd division football in Scotland? I don't. It comes down to how better a player can punt the ball up the park. Are you saying that Albion Rovers are the team you support and Rangers are your 2nd team ?

Zappa 0
Correct. Do you think there's a huge difference between 2nd and 3rd division football in Scotland? I don't actually know Gav, but it's a good question and one that would be interesting to ask an expert who watches both divisions on a regular basis.

I was talking to the Albion Rovers chairman/maintenance man/groundsman/secretray/pie seller/programme seller a week past on Friday and he was saying that the difference in the standard of football between the 2 divisions is minimal. I don't imagine the 2nd division having any quality in it.

The way things are going you may as well have Albion as the team you support.... although not a bad win for the Gooners yesterday
