I like the look of this lad and can't wait to see him in action this weekend - albeit probably from the bench.

This midfield makes me tingle: mobility, pace, creativity and work-rate. Yummy!

I do realise that Ortiz, Edu, Wylde and Jig will all have their part to play as well but the four above can all play in any of the positions in midfield so the thought of them interchanging throughout matches really is quite exciting.

If Lafferty is fit, I'd expect him to start up top with Jelavic meaning Naismith is likely to play deep again.

I agree the Utd game will be too soon for the likes of McKay and Bedoya to start but I can't see McCulloch playing given he's just coming back from injury himself.

I've got a feeling Naismith will be rested in an attempt he can overcome the injury he's been taking painkilling injections for.

Can't see it given Utd away is always a toughie!

Would be happy if he missed the Utd game to ensure he's fit for the Celtic game the following week.

If he is injured then rest him, get the injury cleared up and then play him once he's fully recovered. These painkilling injections don't cure injuries, they simply mask the pain and discomfort. They do more damage than good!

We've messed up before regarding these pain killing injections and I can see it happening again.

There's nothing much being said about Naismith's 'injury' so it can't be that bad. Even if he has taken pain killers it might not be a bad injury and i'm sure he will get the best treatment to make sure he's available for the weekend and beyond. Every game is a big game and Utd is always a hard game for us.

I like the look of Frankie's midfield but doubt they will all start this weekend but you never know.

Is Bedoya not the central player and McKay the left-sided player ?
