Gazza_8 233
The overall team performance that night stands out the most for me,even when Mols went off injured, we were fantastic. We outplayed one of the European greats on their own pitch and really should have won, very very unlucky. Ask how many Rangers fans about what they remember about that game and the majority of them will say Mols injury.
craig 5,199
Have to agree with Gav. I havent looked at the clip but as soon as Mols name was mentioned I knew it would be only one of two things. Either a) the Motherwell game where he destroyed them scoring 4 or b) the Bayern game where he got injured. Fantastic player. Classy guy too
Gribz 966
I thought the clip would be a complemation of Mols. That game doesnt remind me of his injury, but more of a 'what if'. I remember it for the night we should have beaten Munich. Even when Mols went off we should have scored, JJ missed that sitter in the 2nd half.
Danny 0
What a team that was. We were well on top before Mols went off and would have won IMO. Just watching the first minute, look at how we kept the ball and passed it around....different league compared to now. That game was a life changing experience for me tbh. I remember so much about it - from how astonishingly well we played, to how many times we hit the woodwork, to GVB giving away the penalty. I remember Kahn saying no away side had ever come to the Olympic Stadium and dominated the way we did that night. Of course it will be remembered also for the demise of Mols, a tragic loss of a player who could have been our Larsson with ease. His technical ability was absolutely exquisite. But the life changing aspect was realising that there was no point in thinking about what ifs. What if that shot from Wallace had gone in. What if we'd got the draw we needed. No point. We didn't get it and never would have. Once something has happened, there was nothing else that could ever have happened. And that match gave me that philosophy.

I'm with Ian on this, yes Mols got a bad injury and is still talked about but we played superb that night and should've won the game which from the supporters I know this was thee main thing. not like you to pick the negative side Gazza :fish: He was superb last night in the masters, so were the rest of team Edited September 5, 2011 by johnnyk
