Gazza_8 233
Jim White saying on SSN that Leicester have signed Beckford so might not make a 2nd bid for Jelavic now.
Zappa 0
He's going nowhere! He's in Croatia at present. He needs to fly to the UK and get to Leicester City HQ before agreeing a deal. There's not enough time! Was thinking the same thing Gav. No chance he's getting himself to Leicester tonight for a medical and signing a deal. No chance.
Gazza_8 233
He can sign whilst abroad and can also undertake a medical whilst abroad. Not as definite as you suggest - though I hope that it doesnt happen. The buying club must complete the medical and satisfy themselves, and their insurers, that the player is fit and healthy. If they trust a foreign and independent body to do so, I'd be surprised.

craig 5,199
That can still be done from abroad Gav. Insurance contracts are often signed in different countries, speaking from experience. If Leicester really wanted to get it done I am positive they could get a consultant physician to do it. Not as hard as you think

Getting an outsider, in this case, a foreign outsider (still just an outsider surely? ) a bit risky as their standards could be different than those at Leicester?
