When you think that 5 year sentences were handed out to two kids who tried to start a riot on facebook, then there clearly is something that could be done. Don't give them the satisfaction of showing your anger at them. So let them carry on their hatred unabated ? What happens if it escalates because someone doesnt report them ? What happens if they take their hatred to the streets ? 26th of foot 6,221 Posted August 18, 2011 Share Posted August 18, 2011 My old man always left games five minutes before time, we walked to the far end of Kinning Park before getting in the car for our return to deepest, darkest Lanarkshire. The 2nd of January'71 was no different. We walked down the blackened railway sleeper lined Stairway 13 three-four minutes before the Disaster ensued. We heard the windows rattle in Ibroxholm Oval as the roar of the crowd lifted at both goals. We had no idea who scored, or for that matter, the score. Later that evening as reports filtered through, we became aware of the very real tragedy that had visited the Stairwat minutes after our desent. Pictures of tangled metal, pictures of emergency service folks, pictures of white faces officials, pictures of ....... still persist to this day. As a 13 year old, the picture I have etched into my mind's eye, is the hundreds of shoes left lying on the Stairway. Shoes that had lost feet, shoes that had lost owners, shoes that had lost lives. Those shoes remained anchored as folks were swept away on a human tide. We're both as bad as each other and unfortunately there's to many scummy cunts and not enough cops to go around giving them warnings. There are plenty who SHOULD be annoyed by it because they were personally affected by it. Scum are scum. Often they will escalate the petty online stuff into actual, physical stuff.
