Naismith's poor start

Recommended Posts

Exactly he's been far from the worst player on show for us. You don't become a bad player overnight and I'm sure once played in the correct position he'll be back to his best for us.

He's not been our worst player but he hasn't played well. Virtually everything he tried in the first half on Tuesday didn't come off. It isn't just his misses, but it was his flicks, passes and crosses as well.

He's the one player in the team that if he had played a bit better then we could have been sitting with 2 wins. I doubt that a bit of an improvement by, say, Edu would have led to two wins.

Naismith is that important to us, IMO.

There's no way I'm going to start blaming Naismith for the Hearts or Malmo games when we've got a couple of central midfielders (not Davis btw) who create practically nothing for the strikers. No through balls on the deck, no lovely passes into the channels, nothing. Tackle, punt, tackle, pass backwards, tackle, punt, tackle, pass sideways.

Guest Dutchy

Well after traveling to the Nederlands over the past few days, I'm a bit behind on commenting on the forum, but wee Naisy has got another goal for us and here's hoping he'll burst his European duck this week as well.
