Frankie 8,843
I doubt Goe will be able to play tomorrow night as his permit application will most likely only approved on appeal which takes 2-5 days.
GovanAllan 0
Can he not play while waiting on his appeal
Frankie 8,843
Afraid not mate. STV now saying he will get permit first time because he only missed games through injury not non-selection.
Craigy1881 79
So you knowledgeable bunch, does anyone know what he is like as a player? What he will bring to the team? And more importantly, is he better than Kirk Broadfoot
Guest Dutchy
It's not just the waiting game I'd be concerned about. I'd like to ask why we're signing a defender to bring into an very important game without ever having played with his team mates. I have problems with this lack of gelling and wonder if this could be a disaster in waiting?

And more importantly, is he better than Kirk Broadfoot I've never heard of him before but I don't pay a lot of attention to Italian football. Obviously his height will be his main virtue (and he seems to score plenty goals because of it) but I'm not so sure he'll be as valuable on the ball. I reckon he'll be more of a back-up player than first choice but we'll have to wait and see.
craig 5,199
Back up to Broadfoot ??? He can't be that bad surely...... I doubt he will start tomorrow night. our CB pairing tomorrow will be Bougherra and Weir.
calscot 0
Yep, can't see past that pairing even if we make a mythical marquee signing... We need reliability tomorrow, rather than a shake up.

Unfortunately in the preseason matches and our first competitive one, reliability of defence has been conspicuous by its absence.
