Rangers 1 v 1 Hearts - The Quest for 55 begins slowly

Recommended Posts

Gone flat since the equaliser.

Naismith proving he is a RM though. Much better there because he can run with it.

Started the first 10 mins of 2nd half well and had a real go, it was chance after chance. We should be having a go more.

20k a week Whittaker! Cant even hit a ball! Davis did great work on the right and lays it to him for the cross and he fluffs it. He is fast becoming our worst full back and that includes Gary Bollan.

This is going to be a long season unless we get more players of a dceent standard in and quickly , however the cream always rises to the top .

This was always going to be a difficult game against probably one of our biggest threats , JJ always has his teams well drilled and first games of the season are always awkward

Looks like a half-decent performance on the first matchday of the week brings all the moaners out en force :D Slagging Ortiz off on the first day, yes, that makes sense!

It was a decent enough first competitive game of the season, Hearts made a fight of it as they usually do. Essentially a bad error in defence gifted them a goal and gave them extra spirit, resulting in essentially a cup-game affair. Second half showed a good increase in quality from us. Was not enthused about the line up, as McCulloch and Edu are not required during a home game. Might have been a test for Malm¶ though. When the change came, I would have put Wylde on the left and Ortiz on the right (the position he was bought for?), leaving McCulloch out of it and stretching Hearts' central defence. But that's just me.
