We looked good tonight, even if they were behind us in fitness. I expect Hearts to be a moe stiff test, but I think we'll beat them, simply because we're better than them.

Broadfoot did have a couple of good tackles and looked not bad, but we had god movement throughout the team, especially in the first half.

It may be another close run thing this season, but I'm confident now as we look good in defence and attack.

Are the panic merchants feeling more at ease after tonight?

Exactly mate, the thing I don't understand is all the basis for the negativity was based on results???,that's the first time I've seen us play a full game and I'm quite confident in what I've seen, results mean nothing in these games,it's all about preparing for the coming season

By reading the posts here Im more than convinced Broadfoot is a full back and shouldnt play centre half again. Always does a good job RB or LB. I still recall how good he was at Old trafford last season in CL.

Seems AM likes Naismith upfront rather then RM, if we get Miller back that will be an interesting one, personally id have Naismith RM.

Hemmings, tut tut. One on one hits it straight at the keeper.

Young player (maybe slightly nervous) on a relatively big stage though! It's all about experience. Boyd and Miller made that mistake a lot, but they were experienced. We should look at the positive aspects of that chance because it was a cracking pass from Hutton and Hemmings played the offside trap perfectly. Really nice play from the two youngsters.
