rbr 1,270 Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 The biggest problem is like everything else , we judge players on SPL games , if you look back at the European games he played in , he was excellent , scored and made goals , we are far too blinkered in Scotland , good luck to him. As for Craigs point above , Liverpool is tailor made if he is allowed to play slightly deeper , his passing and the way Liverpool play are totally suited , plus and it's a major point they have Andy Carroll who will love , Simply love Adam's delivery . 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wasn't Dalglish part of the 'dream team' in the SPL a few years ago? To mention him in the same breath as Sir Alex is like comparing Lemon to O'neil. Bought the championsip at Blackburn, born into a championship winning team at Pool. Adam is in NO WAY a "great" player. That is utter horseshit IMHO. If he is then the standard of football has considerably dropped, again IMHO. Decent player, yes. Great player ? Anytime I have seen Adam lately I have to say I haven't seen much difference to the player I watched at Ibrox. The English media seem to have decided he is some kind of superstar. Sorry but Henderson and Adam are not Championship challenging singings for Liverpool in my book Agree Dado. Didnt see where the media were coming from with Adam's performances. He was their 2nd best performer in a Championship level team. (Vaughan was the better player). Man Utd are going after Modric, Nasi and Sneijder but Liverpool snap up Henderson and Adam. Mancini inherited ego's and just added to them with bigger ego's buy over paying players who think they dont need to get out of first gear. If he gets his signings right and gets the players in the right of frame of mind they will be closer. But you need that strong mentality to drive it and it doesnt get stronger than Alex Ferguson.
