Absolutely. Surely Rangers have learned their lesson now about this mercenary. He was good for us but there are some things worth more than mere lucre; principles, for example.

If he was on, say, �£15K, and his play deserved a rise which we couldn't afford, even the biggest dyed in the wool bear would find it hard to turn down a �£50k a week offer. Fans on a mortal wage never see things in the same way as footballers who are used to earning thousands weekly.
