der Berliner 3,884
The press conference thing and the Hemed news are actually not related. Methinks, as was said over on FF, that the agent actually told the Spaniards that Rangers will get their men and they published what they knew. Hemed will most likely presented - in case he really signs - once he is actually been to Glasgow and have seen our doctors and Ally in person. Danny 0
Saw a post on Twitter saying Hemed is going to take the weekend to make up his mind about joining Rangers. If that's true it's very odd - I thought he was desperate to join.

Danny 0
Rangers' primary transfer target, Tomer Hemed, is to consider a switch to Ibrox over the weekend. The 24-year-old Israeli international has been linked with a move to Spain, but has indicated that the lure of Champions League football could be enough to sway him in favour of Ibrox. Hemed has now met with Rangers club officials and has been made an offer to join the club. Rangers manager Ally McCoist said: "He will consider Rangers' offer over the weekend and make his mind up next week". The striker, who finished top scorer in last season's Israeli Premier League, has options with from at least one other European club, believed to be Espanol, but McCoist remains confident of convincing him that Ibrox should be his next destination. Why is he considering given how keen he supposedly was to come? Is his agent twisting things?

der Berliner 3,884
Well, just yet, there is no rush. And, of course, he has more to consider here than a Bluenose who "sees a dream come true" in donning the famous jersey.
Guest BRIANMC1
Hamed has agreed a 3 year deal with Mallorca. First Target missed out on. Lessons should be learned ref. telling all and sundry who we are in for. We move on

der Berliner 3,884
As Novo said ... We have no interest in players who have no interest in coming to play for this club. If he wants to go and play for another club it is his loss, not our loss. ... yet, we'll have to wait until there is something official. I find it strange that he bade for a weekend to consider, only to jump at the next best chance he come across (has he spoken to Espanyol and Real within one day - medical and all?) ...
