You could get to know various posters well as it was really small, have great debates and one on one conversations with fellow Rangers fans without being lost in the crowd. I introduced theboyharley to this forum and back in the day, it was in my opinion the best Rangers forum around. The poster Craig even bought me my first membership for the RST to encourage people to join and raise awareness of their work when they first started out. It helped mould my views as a Rangers supporter into what they are now. I will be eternally grateful for that kind gesture As time went on however, it became clear that there was a clique of people with elitist views and opinions. It became very childish at times on here and that was one of the reasons why I left. No disrespect to Frankie though, the work he does is sterling. It was a pleasure my man. I personally had such high hopes for RST and that was the reason I paid for those memberships. Sadly the wheels fell off the RST but that is another discussion for another day and another thread. I am quite saddened that you left though, you were a valued poster and it is still good to see you back, even if not as often as previously. I dont notice the clique or elitist views that you noticed - but then I will argue with ANYONE and I am an opinionated fucker so I am probably the elitist you talk of :devil: Hopefully you dont see that as being the case anymore and we will see you back more frequently. The dynamics of the forum have definitely changed since I joined, more than once I hasten to add. I do agree that it there have been some childish spats on here and most of us (Frankie excepted) have been involved in them and it is touch embarrassing - but I dont think we have seen that for a while, fingers crossed it will be a while again (depends on when MF is next on though... sorry MF, retribution for calling me (and you) - haha) 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also feel that there are too many yahoos on that board, and a lot of the threads end up as silly arguments. I posted on FF for quite a few years, and only recently looked in on Gesnet for some takeover news. I liked what I saw, signed up, and enjoy logging on here. The rest, as they say, is history.
