New Home Strip Unveiled

Recommended Posts

Dont like having a new kit every season as it is, too many kits get forgotten about compared to the 80s and 90s when we cold name pretty much all kits as they were used for 2-3 seasons.

People might think its a good money maker for the club but id be more inclined to buy a kit knowing it was going to be valid for 2-3 seasons rather than 10 months.

As for this one, I quite like it. If it was a round neck it would look superb.

I agree, what it does is convince you to wait till the end of the season and buy the old strip for peanuts. Having last season's strip isn't that bad when you consider this years is going to be out of date so soon - unless you want to bin your strip every year.

For me, I don't really care how current my strip is - as long as it looks in ok condition.

True. Older footy kits are in fashion and they are even making them again. I saw the Scotland World Cup 86 for sale last time I was in the shop.

I have a lot still in good condition but the late 80s early 90s kits would too small for me, but from 1994 onwards I would always buy a adult large so they all still fit. I do have our 1989 away kit with the half red half white diagonal line with McEwans Lager in a large and would wear that no prob at all.

That's a shame, I thought they'd have kept the current design for another season, I think its the best home kit we've had in years.

Agreed. In fact for me it's the best ever in my 37 years. I actually bought it the other day for £8 out JJB :D
