Lennon Sent Off In Bilbao

Recommended Posts

Celtic manager Neil Lennon was been sent to the stands during the club's friendly match against Athletic Bilbao.

Lennon, who is currently serving a touchline ban in Scotland, had a disagreement with the match referee in the first half of the match at the San Mames stadium. The official reportedly threatened to abandon the match unless Lennon left the technical area.

Celtic's manager then sat with the Bilbao fans directly adjacent to the dugout for the remainder of the match, which finished goalless.

The game was being held to raise funds for 160 youth teams throughout the province of Biscay, of which Bilbao is the capital.

Common denominator at it again

Celtic fans saying it's a pre-arranged plan as a GIRUY gesture to the SFA. Utter balls as no one at that club is intelligent enough to conjour up a plan like that!

An absolute embarassment of a man.
