Tim comment in the hands of the police?

Recommended Posts

I've heard something about a comment made by someone East End inclined about 'raping protestant children'.

And that this had ended up in the hands of the police?

I know nothing about what happened, or anything about it. Anyone able to elaborate?

The lad in question lives in the area I work and I actually saw the call on the computer. His name and address have been posted on the internet so looks like I might be in for a busy night tonight. :sigh:

I don't think the guy's a peadophile, more a stupid, idiotic moron.

His Facebook account has since been shut down.

Of course he's not a danger to children - just an idiot who obviously gets his sense of humour from minimal brains.

What powers do the Bobby's have in such circumstances mate? Caution for Breach?

Secterian Breach or Communications Act. If he gets done with a secterian breach he'll remain in custody and held at a cop shop until the next lawful day when the courts are open. Best thing that can happen is to arrest him about midday on a Friday afternoon which will mean he's in until Monday morning or even better, Tuesday morning if Monday is a bank holiday. :D

Not necessarily true.

I bet the lad in question is always a moron whether on the internet or out with his mates.

True but people tend to think they are untouchable online so probably exaggerate their behaviour.

Something tells me said person may be regretting their moment of madness... :D

More than a moment in the case of said moron ... and by his father by all accounts ... and, by all those accounts and then some, he may have more to fret over than the police knocking on his door.
