He got the ball on the edge of our box and the FIRST instinct of any Rangers player in the vicinity should have been to close the space down and give him no time on the ball. Davis stood and watched. And that about sums up his season. I could possibly have cut some slack had Brown been in the box as you dont want to commit a foul... but he was outside the box and there was NO reason to not close him down. It would only be for a matter of seconds so I don't see the problem. Anyway, I'm sure they'd see Weir struggling to get back and cover him. Also, the game is not in play after Weir scores which should give the players and management time to sort something out. No biggie! Diouf had got back to help cover Papac and was still the only Rangers player to close Brown down given Edu/Davis were sitting too deep and both ball-watching.
