Gazza_8 233
Charlie Adams had plenty of games for Rangers much to the chagrin of many fans. If anything held Charlie back at Rangers, it would be the crowd well before the management. If anything held him back it was his shitty 80 yard passes then either went out for throw-ins or went to an opposition player when a simple 5 or 10 yard pass wouldv'e sufficed. The falling on his arse didn't help either!

The falling on his arse didn't help either! Would these be the same passes he is now doing in the EPL but players seem to be getting on the end of them and he's getting rave reviews about? He is a better all round player now than when he was with us but he still IMO had quality but apart from his first full season with us we didn't see much and he drifted in and out the team which also didn't help him IMO. Like bluedell said his attitude seems to have changed and he looks much fitter but he has also said the training is a lot better and harder than he ever had with us.
Gazza_8 233
Is that not what developing as player constitutes?. You should learn to walk before you run. Maybe if he passed the ball 5 or 10 yards to a Rangers player the fans wouldn't have got on his back therefore he'd have grown in confidence. He did himeself no favours!

These would be the same passes, yes. Difference is, he has obviously mastered the art of short passing and grew in confidence.
