Frankie 8,684 Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Add in two titles, a close third, a run to the UEFA Cup final with some decent stuff in Europe generally (including away wins in Lyon and Lisbon) and being in contention again this season for 4 trophies; the argument against not playing McCulloch - who has been a mainstay in the team throughout these relative successes - isn't a very strong one. Again, nobody is suggesting McCulloch is a great player or essential to the team. How could we still win the game with 9 men if he's a waste of a shirt - does that mean we really won with eight men? Doesn't ring true to me. Hahaha. Now you're just twisting the words of people to suit your own views. Show me where anyone has said McCulloch is world class.
