Blackpool scored 2 goals in this game and could have got a point. Unless the game was deliberately thrown, I see no logic behind this. The big clubs will rotate their players and leave out stars for certain matches all the time. Blackpool are valuating him at �£16m, 32 times what they paid for him... Alex Ferguson said he could not cope with Charlie Adam at the weekend and that he fully agrees with the evaluation. They made it clear that they didnt field a weakend team whereas Wolves did make it clear they were chaging things around for their Man Utd game. Plus the rules have changed this season...each club now has a squad of 25 players and can pick whoever they want. Where do you draw the line in weakening a team? everyone obviously has a strongest / best XI so if you make ONE change is that fielding a weaker team?? Man Utd played Gibson against Blackpool this week and left Giggs out...thats weakening their team but will that be mentioned. More fat cats making rules up. Someone should now ask the Premier League how they define "weak" players, explaining how many of those players picked for Blackpool on the day were "weak" and why.
