Totti 0
madness Wonder what he'll do now, ESPN??? He would be a massive coup for ITV or BBC. I suspect he'll end up back at sky in some capacity

ian1964 10,761
What a joke, never worth a sacking, apology & warning would have been suffice, rediculous decision.
Whosthedado 1,703
That is an absolute joke. Best co-commentator on Sky by a country mile. Hope someone else snaps him up. PC gone mad:brick:
Zappa 0
From what I've read, his comments weren't even bad. They were really at the mild end of what could ever be deemed as sexist along with stuff like suggesting that women are worse drivers than men and that's something which has been joked about for decades.
Gazza_8 233
Outrageous decision!
maineflyer 0
What a sad, fucked up country. This decision must vindicate and give hope to every feminist catholic black gay dwarf ginger islamist malcontent longing to be a victim. Ffs don't say what you think in this country because around the corner will be some big-eared bastard desperate to be offended. I hope when I'm eighty, someone gives me a gun for my birthday because I just might feel I've nothing to lose.

Gribz 917
He's obviously been set up due to this News of the World case else how else would 3 clips of him in the space of a month surface. Wrong decision to sack him, I dont think he was joking with his comments but a slap on the wrist and off the telly for a week would have been enough. 20 years of service should surely have played its part in keeping him. Isnt there a deal between ESPN and Sky? The premier League has its own broadcast channel now live to many countries round the world and they share pundits and commentators. With not a lot of people knowing about it in these countries he may end up there.
