Jig on verge of three match ban

Recommended Posts

McCulloch is hardly a great player but he's contributed just as much as any other midfielder this season.

Generally, other than Naismith, our midfield have under-performed and been dreadfully inconsistent. Davis, Edu and Weiss have not done enough but seem to miss the same venom directed at McCulloch which I find interesting.

You're guaranteed Jig to get a booking in every game he plays.

Isn't that sometimes called, "Taking one for the team"?

I don't get to see many games on TV these days, but I find it ironic that almost every time I do, a few posters will slate him before the game and then look like diddies when he has an apparently decent game.

I agree he was a bit gash a couple of seasons ago - but for a while, without ever really being amazing, he seems to have been reasonably consistent in doing a decent enough job in midfield, while often having a couple of decent shots at goal.

It wasn't an insult nor a compliment, it was simply an observation but as you asked I'd say he's a bit reckless at times.

More often that not in McCullochs case it's just being a tad late when tackling. I don't think he's a dirty player, not in the slightest, I see him as a fair and strong player who plays with his heart on his sleeve. I like McCulloch as a player, he does what he needs to do well. He's not a creative player, he's a ball winner.

Get off your high horse anyway.

If he gets off his high horse it will take him a long time to climb down

To be honest Jelavic should have walked. He was very stupid to make a head movement. I saw it coming and was screaming Noooo even before it happened. You could just see it in his reaction that he was going do something stupid.

I think it is obvious that you don't like/rate McCulloch and that is fair, but I do think he gets a bit too much of a hard time,he does a job for the team and does it well IMO,keeps it simple and will have a dig when it's required,a good pro and a good servant to Rangers.
