Good first half. Piss poor second half. Crazy challenge from Brown. Mentalist refereeing. Top of the league.

Brown is an absolute tool for that challenge. He may have tried to stop just before contact but momentum took him in to clatter the defender. In their corner spot. What a moron.

Only aside I'd add is that chance to send motherwell player off was ignored, recognised and ignored. Chance to send Celtic player off, yipeee! Both sending offs.

Ref was a hun eff. Brown slipped and was sent off. Lasley should've walked. Izzy was continually assualted, luckily for him, he's the best player in the world, ever. Fact

Top of the league.

Definitely think we should appeal the Brown sending off. At first I thought it was a horrible tackle, but on replay he stumbled and fell into the tackle, and the only contact was the Motherwell player kicking Brown's knee.

Scottish refereeing plumbs new depths. Shower of blatant, manky, cheating hun effpigs. Unreal. Wish to Christ we could get out of this league.

Worst refereeing performance since McDonald against the huns last year. Doesn't get away from the fact that we are a very poor side. Might nip intae Ibrox Sunday night and burst the pipes masel. :(

Standard hatchet job by the ref before a derby match. His remit was to ensure tackles flew in to injure as many Celtic players as possible and to book as many Celtic players as possible and to try to get Motherwell some points. All huns are cheats.

The only reason we were so bad was because the ref was that bad that he utterly ruined the game as a spectacle. I'm sure the players learned a lot from this. They know they will get NOTHING at the bigot dome.

3 points! Ref HUNbelievable!

No protection for our players at all!

Izzy, Wilson, Kayal, Forest, Paddy (I am sure there are a few more) all bad tackles that could have had them out for weekend.

I don't know if i'm looking at Brown's challenge with green tinited specs, but he goes down to block ball, momentum carries him on, on a wet slippy pitch and he collides with his body (no feet/legs) to the player.

Free kick .... but don't think it was a yellow/red.

Especially when they got let off with everything.

Good first half. Second half was pish again. Kapo looks a player. Hope he is fit for sunday.

The ref was absolut shocling. A Hun in disguise. Unbelivable. :nono:

For all Scoot Brown lovers: This must be one of the stupid players in a celtic jersey. This guy is really a headless chicken. He has a great engine but he contribute nothing to the game. His ball control is a shame and hgis tackles effing stupid. In my opinion he had a tackle in the second half who was worth a second yellow card as well (but the hun referee did'nt see it).

Get signed Freddy for Sunday.

Anyway three points. Bring on the filth! :arrr:

Points:

Christs arse, we are a poor team.

Brown never even touched the FCM player - never a yellow card.

Thank feck we have a left back. He was outstanding tonight. A wee guy or not, he

looks like he wont take any pish from SPL hammer throwers. Several others in that

squad want to watch him and see how you play for Celtic.

The MITB - tonight was as bad as I've seen in a long time, and baring in mind what

we saw last season, that's some benchmark. Blatant cheating from a so-called ref so

far out of his depth he shouldn't even be refereeing a schoolboy match. Utter masonic

bastardry of the very highest (most likely orange) order. Desperate to red card a

Celtic player tonight. Lasley shouldve been off the park, as arguably should that

turd Craigen. But no - he sends off Scott Brown for f**k all. A disgrace.

Performances are getting worse and worse. Team, who ever is picked can only muster 20mins of football till they fall apart. If we don't score in that hot period it becomes very difficult to score. Lennon is not fixing this. Hes out of his depth.

Normally I'd be happy that Brown won't be playing at Ibrox. I'm not a fan of his at all but he played well tonight and looked like a Celtic captain for the first time ever.

Could still be a blessing in disguise. If he hadn't got the red card tonight he'd have got it before half time on Sunday.

Good to get the win but having seen the second half I thought we were awful. Our team are showing absolutely nothing at present, and we'll be lucky to come away with a draw against them on Sunday.

Too many players, not to mention a manager, too far out their depth.

Just looked at the clip of the sending off and two things occur. One, Brown clearly tried to pull out of it and his momentum took him towards the guy. Secondly, there is a Celtic player (Leadley?) between the ref and the incident, very much like Dougie Dougie was, but that obviously isn't a problem.

Night and day really. We can be a decent side without Murphy and Ledley and despite being toothless and uninspired especially in the second half deserved to win.

As for the referee- the battle with the SFA is far from over. That cheat last week, now this particular lower rectum. Couldn't wait to send Brown off, yet a deliberate handball goes unpunished. And that's just the most obvious ones. Dallas' loyal brothers are still there. I'd get banned if I posted what I wish on him and the rest of them.

I enjoyed the first 35 minutes of the game and Paddy's goal was a cracker. Real Entertainment. The goblins arrived in the second half and it all went to hell in a handbasket. Really strange game. Still scratching my head. Didn't think it was a 2nd yellow for Brown. He was unlucky but first glance it looked bad. Unlucky there. Still 3 points. Clean sheet. Now the world can see the lack of quality in refereeing in Scotland.

The ref couldnt see it for a start...Then he reacted to what he thought he saw by pulling out out a yellow card as if it was a red...Just shows how much he wanted someone in the Hoops to miss sundays game...I wouldnt panic into the ljungberg signing play same back 4 put juarez, forrest, kayal, ledley, and mccourt playing off stokes...

As bad a refereeing team as I can remember. North Stand linesman was useless, referee was taking incompetent to a whole new level.

The Brown red card was yet another disgraceful decision. Brown pulled out of the challenge, slipped, just avoided getting a kick to the face and still gets booked and sent off.

The thing you don't see from the clip above is that the referee wasn't even watching at the point when the 'tackle' happened. He runs away, looks back, sees the Motherwell guy on the deck and that's his decision made.

Compare with the tackles on Wilson and Izzy. Both much worse and yet nothing done.

Motherwell kicked us up and down the park, yet the ref managed to book as many Celtic players as Motherwell. Danny for his 2nd foul of the game, when the first one wasn't even a foul. Kayal for God knows what when the Motherwell guy had just booted McCourt up on the air.

So another honest mistake means we are without our captain for the game against the Huns. What a coincidence.

Scott Brown did well tonight and I'm not his biggest fan but the referee was on strict instructions to eff celtic over in anyway he could and Scott gave him the opportunity to. It was not a yellow card because he pulled out in time but the ref was looking for a promotion in the old blue whistle test hence the yellow and red. I thought he was going to get Danny but it was Scott he succeeded in getting. The huns will be lapping it up but if we sign Freddy and Kapo manages a game we could shock them.

There is no way Celtic should let this lie. I know there is supposed to be no appeals process for 2 yellows but something must be done about a yellow card for absolutely nothing which means your captain misses the biggest game of the season. The more I watch it the more I can't believe what I am saying. Maybe the ref will come out tomorrow and say he was wrong and wants to rescind the yellow card.

after the last two performances from the refs in this weeks games we have been left in no doubt that dallas's legacy will be around for many years to come and with a compliant hun media in tow it's going to be a very long time before we have parity on the referee front.

Just back from the game.

Good start and should have been 3 up at least at half time. Typically faded in the second half and looked under pressure to a side who didnt have a shot on goal all night.

Paddy was good, and I like Izaguirre. I like the aggression of Kayal.

I was raging with Brown after the game, but just seeing the replay - he didnt even touch the player. In fact, he was kicked.

Hun Bastard was dying to give something against us all night.

The ref lost control of the game. Absoloutely unbelievable, picked fights with Scott Brown, was generally a dickhead. All that has went on in the last two months has not made a difference. Its us take on from now on. We need to win this league, it will be the biggest victory in the history of Celtic. Cmon Bhoys :arrr:

I`m not a massive fan of Brown but tonight I thought he had one of his best games for Celtic. First half he was everywhere, chasing, harrying, getting in peoples faces and leading by example.

He didn`t have quite the same influence in the second but it certainly wasn`t for lack of effort.

I haven`t seen any replays of the incident yet but my first thought at the game was that Brown attempted to pull out the challenge and the Motherwell boy made the most of it.

I actually had a stand up argument with the guy in front of me who disagreed with my opinion and was convinced Brown was a disgrace for going in the way he did.

As far as the referee goes, that was as poor a performance as I have ever seen from a referee. Hopeless, biased, incompetent, cheat.

Take your pick.

Another baldy cheating hun carrot. If they would stop doing this i would stop calling their integrity into question

Lost control of the game and the only surprise is noone seriously hurt.

Couldn't get the card out for Brown quick enough could he?. Fair puts in perspective some of the challenges that McCulloch and Lafferty have only been booked for recently if thats a yellow card.

Played some nice stuff in the first half hour. Most of the good stuff through Kapo (who looks a decent player on this showing). After he went off we had nothing and the second half was abysmal.

Plus point is that we fought for it. It looked to me that the motherwell team talk at half time advocated kicking lumps out of us. For a change we stood up to it. Onwards and upwards

And Izaguirre is a class act as well.

Just back from the game and saw Brown's sending off again. Fecking shocking, it's never a foul never mind a second yellow.

The ref and both linesmen were appalling, booking Celtic players for feck all, allowed Motherwell players away with absolute murder. At one point Forrest was taken out with no foul given, Motherwell race up the pitch and Izaguirre is shielding the ball out for a goal kick, he's snapped from behind and nothing is given. Instead they gave Motherwell a corner  :nono:

We really needed brown on Sunday. For starters he has experience at ibrox, he knows what's required there. We need that in your face, stare you down, do your nut in, general causing bother presence. Personally, I think unless our wingers are shampoo hot on Sunday we'll get skelped as we are soft in the centre now. Paddy MCCourt is the new messiah though, so fingers crossed

If we aren`t able to appeal Browns sending off merely because it was two yellows then the rules need changed.

I hope lennon shows the players a video of all the ref's honest mistakes! And tells them its going to be even worse on sunday.(imo it will be). Then says to then either you are here to stand up and fight or your wont make it at celtic.

Good to see the bhoys standing up to motherwells bullying tactics tonight also thought lennon had the starting 11 and formation spot on, i actually think this may have been the perfect warm up game before facing the huns on sunday. The ref was a complete disgrace and couldnt wait to send someone off some of his and his linesmans decisions were blatant cheating no other word for it.

That looks like a Ronaldoesque finish with the way he struck the ball.

Aye as someone said earlier Lenny needs to show the players a video of these decisions and tell them this is what yer up against and it will be worse at Ipox.

As a nearly 50 year old can someone tell our board that there might be better things I can do with my hard eaned dosh than contribute to a process that for the foreseeable ends with the Huns playing in the Champions League until we get a chance of "winning" the league.

Come on Celtic, its time to use the Neutron Bomb on the SFA, you know the one that wipes out people, but leaves the building standing.

What idiots some of them are. They say " I thought at the game the ref got it right but now I have seen a replay I realise the ref was a cheat" Well maybe the ref should drive home and watch a replay before making a decision.
