Gazza_8 233
I can smell shite, there's no quotes. Pyoor pish journalism! RANGERS are contemplating an ambitious bid to take Kris Boyd back on loan, according to Scottish sources. The Glasgow club have been alerted to the fact that Boyd is no longer holding down a regular place with the Boro. The 27-year-old forward has not made the massive impact in the Championship that might have been hoped and is one of Boroââ?¬â?¢s most saleable assets as the January transfer window approaches. However, Tony Mowbray will be looking for a fee if he is to agree to Boyd moving out just six months after signing for the Boro. At the same time, Rangersââ?¬â?¢ interest is likely to persist throughout the month. The Gazetteââ?¬â?¢s Scottish sources claim that the Boro strikerââ?¬â?¢s camp have made contact with the Ibrox club to float the possibility of Boyd ââ?¬Ë?going homeââ?¬â?¢. But a permanent move looks unlikely. Rangers boss Walter Smith has already been told there will be no money to bring in new faces this winter. It all depends on whether Rangers feel that Boydââ?¬â?¢s return will prove a money-spinner. So there could yet be a chance that the Ibrox budget will be slightly re-written to enable them to make a wage-sharing offer to Boro. Thatââ?¬â?¢s assuming the current takeover talks donââ?¬â?¢t bear fruition - because if Rangers change hands next month then Smith will be handed a fighting fund before the window closes. Boyd moved to Teesside in July on a big-money Bosman transfer after turning down the offer of a new Ã?£18,000-a-week deal at Ibrox. But the move turned sour when Gordon Strachan was sacked after a catastrophic run of results. However, while Boydââ?¬â?¢s Boro future is uncertain, his advisors have not yet settled on a definitive course of action.
pete 2,499
Please no. There has not been as much movement in our team as we now have, for years. Don't take us back to the to the 11 standstill dustbins.

CumbernauldGers 0
Wont happen but would love him back. He brings goals and we only have one player that can do the same so he would be great.
Norris Cole 0
For a start, it's the last position we need reinforcing. I wouldn't want him back, at the moment anyway - I'm by no means anti-Boyd but we've improved as a team since he left and I'm not sure we'd want to jeapordise that.

Totti 0
I agree with whats been said so far and I also fail to see anything 'ambitious' about trying to sign a former player who's all round ability was questionable and who is struggling at the wrong end of the championship.
H1ndy 0
norris is spot on, we've improved as a team and i think it would be the last position we need players for we,ve already got miller, naismith, big jela, lafferty, beattie and fleck if any position we need a left midfielder and maybe a centre half
