pete 2,511 Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 Seen footage of some ground staff starting to clear snow off the pitch this afternoon, so you never know it might be on. They'll have cleared the snow off this afternoon so they can switch the under-soil heating on in the hope that it might thaw out the frozen turf in time. If they've managed to fix the burst pipes and clear the surrounding pavements in time it might go ahead after all. Let's hope so. I have been having a look around some websites and there is not even a mention of a pitch inspection, so it seems the pitch is playable.
