A 10 team, 36 game league would help - and a winter shut-down.

We should do the winter shut-down for the whole of February - then if games are postponed during December and January they can be played as soon as possible or if not then during the shut-down if the weather permits. A back-log can then be redressed much more easily than now, with 4 free weeks. If we have a terrible 3 months with no games then it's still better as about 6 less games on the card will have been postponed.

There are always less postponements in August and June than December to February.

Starting earlier will also raise our chances in the CL qualifiers - even after a long-hard season with a short summer. A month off in July, should be enough with any more really just lowering fitness levels and raising body fat percentage.

I think we'd have easily beaten Kaunas given a few league games to get going before a game against a team already a third of the way through their season.

I see where you're coming from, but I couldn't bring myself to want Rangers to be beaten in anything.

Pretty poor reason for a postponement though, just when we need games played and out the way.

You're right. I don't actually want us to get beaten in europe but it would benefit us domestically if we went out early doors in the Europa League.
