The Big Eck cycle continues

He always seems to come to a new club, enjoy some sort of success in his first 2 or 3 seasons, then everything goes completely tits up and his sides become abysmal.

Brimingham after last seasons decent campaign are in dangerous territory just above the relegation zone, and as of this time are being beaten by woeful Wolves. 3 wins out of 16 games and not a single win away from home show he's once again being found out to be a very limited manager. The mind boggles thinking how bad Birmingham would be without fairly decent defenders and a top keeper.

A bit harsh. His side have just beaten Chelsea so he must be doing something right. That said, his teams are boring to watch, they don't create much and for all the money he's spent, it seems they're going backwards.

That Zigic is looking a right plonker for them.

It always happens when he brings in his own players , he always does well with other peoples squads , he would be well suited to the european model of just being a coach and leaving player recruitment to others .

Still have a squad 100 x better than Birminghams. Every Chelsea player would walk into the Brum side.

The individual quality is irrelevant when a team plays collectively as poor as Chelsea. Spurs will definitely get at least a point today and Ancelotti will hopefully then resign

2 wins out of their last 8 games is murder

Wolves aren't as bad as their table position makes them look. They've been unlucky in quite a few matches. Twice they've been denied points at Old Trafford in injury time and they've beaten better sides than Brum.

Id give McLeish a bit of the benefit of doubt that this season as its so difficult to call, there is nothing between the teams. Ok they are now 3 ahead of Wolves but only 3 behind Stoke who get applauded.

There seems to be quite a number of teams who are boring to watch at the moment, Birmingham are one of them but even Sunderland who are 7th arent good to watch.

I tipped Everton to be a top 6 team this season, but even they are only 3 clear of Wolves. Strange season.

What a chance for Man Utd and Arsenal tonight though. A win for either puts them in a great position going into the busy Xmas period. Even if Man U lose they can still beat Blackpool in their game in hand and beat Chelsea next week and still in a great position so Im hoping the Goons win tonight.
