A couple of brief appearances from the bench will do no harm. Even a closed door game would suffice, nothing too competitive though, that might see the cluggers target him.

If we could get him back for at least one of the two games the week before the OF game, he'd at least get a good run out. We're at Firpark on Boxing Day and McDiarmid Park on the 29th, so even if he could get SOME game time in those two fixtures it might be better than nothing, although there's also the danger of him getting hacked to bits and not being available for the OF game.
