The fact that a cash rich Celtic have failed miserably against a broke Rangers, after having two champions wins behind them, a settled squad have managed to lose two titles in a row, failed to qualify for the Champions League two seasons in a row, while a cash strapped Rangers, with no new signings over these two years have.

celtic seem to think that they have the right to dictate what referees are allowed to operate in Scotland and what to know personal information about them as well.

 

When abusive and bullying behaviour by your manager leads to a small, immaterial white lie that was very quickly corrected it appears that the abusive and bullying behaviour can be totally overlooked.

 

Celtic also don't seem to appear to be raising the biggest crime on that day...that an official deliberately withheld information that he knew that a penalty had been incorrectly given to celtic.

Initially, I thought Reid's reinforcing the suggestion by Peter Wishart MSP, that referees must declare the team they support, was his nadir at today's Yahoo AGM. Clearly, Reid was pushing at an open door and playing to the gallery. Apparently, Reid backtracked from his support given during the AGM, at the post-AGM press conference. A hack questioned what would occur if all referees declared their support for Rangers? Of course, all refs declaring for any one team causes the same impasse.

 

However, I am hearing Reid sunk even lower whilst clambering atop the moral high ground. To a question about Sellik as a club's response on the day to the poopygate banner, Reid sanctimoniously replied, "Celtic is not a dividing name. Anything that incites hate is to be deplored. OUR LEVEL OF SIN IS LESS THAN OTHERS THOUGH".

 

Oh really?

 

This from a Chairman of a club that was responsible for a most reprehensible sporting scandal.

 

This from a man that reduced a fellow MP, Dawn Primarolo to a state of fear and tears, due to his unwelcome drunken sex-pesting.

 

This from a club whose Chief Executive, Peter Lawwell insisted on the maintenance of sporting integrity at the closing of season '07/08. Apparently, said season could NOT be extended to accomodate Rangers involvement in the UEFA cup final because ra Sellik had booked an end of season tour to Japan, which failed to materialise.

 

This from a club that cannot put a signature block at the bottom of it's numerous letters of complaint to the SFA these last few years.

 

Dr Reid, Baron of Cardowan should be packed of to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He should be pitched into the front line with all the poor sods he sent there whilst Minister of Defence, he can demonstrate his integrity.
