Why? The steward was only doing his job. Doing what he's asked to do by his boss. What's jobsworth about that?

Absolutely pointless! Another jobsworth steward marches up and down the stairs watching the crowd. For fuck's sake - watch the game. You are getting paid and you don’t watch the Rangers!

Got to completely disagree - he's distracting and blocking the view and anyone marching around officiously because they've been given a uniform is annoying and makes things uncomfortable. Imagine you missed a goal because of him? Just what kind of trouble is he looking for?

 

Like waiters and shop sales staff, security should be low key until they are needed.

It's hardly the guys fault. He does his job and gets paid yet Jeff Winter comes away with that drivel! He's hardly killing or even hurting anyone. If he does block anyones view it'll be for a couple of seconds. Hardly the end of the world!
