Gribz 966
The worrying thing though is that there's been a few times already this season where he could have changed things around in terms of starting lineup or with different substitutions, but hasn't. Some of the younger guys need time on the pitch with the first team urgently, otherwise, we'll be saying the same thing in another few months. You only have to look at how long some of our younger first team players have taken to settle to see that even playing regularly, the "reserves" could take a season or so to find their feet. The squad is looking bare in terms of options in the midfield. We have two players in Edu & McCulloch who can play the defensive/holding role, but we're really lacking other players to come in and play in the other positions. Its not as bad if you have Naismith wide on the right as an inside forward almost, but we can't setup so attack-minded in every game. With Weiss disappointing so far, you then have to play someone like Lafferty on the left who is also a forward playing out of position. Even with our defence, we do have some cover there to mix things up, rest players etc, but WS doesn't seem keen to do it for whatever reason. Yeah mostly agreed, but Weiss seems to have been disappointing on the left whereas he looked much better in his first few games on the right. Broadfoot has played well in every game he has appeared in this season while Whittaker has been awful of late and needs a rest. Foster played well in the Champions league so could easily give Papac a rest. Id imagine Foster would be well up for playing against Aberdeen. The sort of change for a game Id like to see would be Bougherra moving into the holding midfield role with either Fleck, Davis or Naismith playing ahead of him in a diamond. Bougherra has looked flat at the back so maybe giving him a move into the midfield would put a spark into him. Young Hutton should definitely be another option, we just need a fresh pair of legs in the midfield.

Guest christophski
Did Lee pump yer maw? Nope but he has been one of our worst players recently
Super_Ally 0
Nope but he has been one of our worst players recently The team haven't played well for about 5 games as stated in the preview. I'm not convinced merely dropping Lee is the answer to our problems like you seem to think. Also considering prior to his lay-off he had been our best midfielder. You strike me as the sort of poster who makes their mind up on someone and wont change it regardless of the evidence available.

Gazza_8 233
Nope but he has been one of our worst players recently How do you define 'recently'? If it's in the past 3 games then yes, he has been poor but apart from that he's been a great player to have in the team.
