metlika 0
The worrying thing though is that there's been a few times already this season where he could have changed things around in terms of starting lineup or with different substitutions, but hasn't. Some of the younger guys need time on the pitch with the first team urgently, otherwise, we'll be saying the same thing in another few months. You only have to look at how long some of our younger first team players have taken to settle to see that even playing regularly, the "reserves" could take a season or so to find their feet. The squad is looking bare in terms of options in the midfield. We have two players in Edu & McCulloch who can play the defensive/holding role, but we're really lacking other players to come in and play in the other positions. Its not as bad if you have Naismith wide on the right as an inside forward almost, but we can't setup so attack-minded in every game. With Weiss disappointing so far, you then have to play someone like Lafferty on the left who is also a forward playing out of position. Even with our defence, we do have some cover there to mix things up, rest players etc, but WS doesn't seem keen to do it for whatever reason. If Webster wasn't always on the treatment table I would give him a chance as we haven't been our usual self in defence we have leaked almost a goal a match.
Stimpy 0
The middle is the area Ive worried about since the summer. Its looked stale in the last few matches and now Edu has an injury so we are down to the bare bones. Its a great chance to unleash Fleck and make us more attacking. Yip, also Hutton looks to have a decent football brain on him too. We need someone who can also play the possession game.

I know but he was capable of playing Dundee Utd, is it our training methods? I do feel sorry for him but it hasn't worked out with us and him.

Would love to know what exactly is going on with him.
stewarty 2,069
Hopefully this is a signal that finally Walter will starting rotating the squad more regularly. That means more game time for the likes of Hutton, Fleck, Wylde, and possibly even McMillan, Loy and Perry. Its not going to be easy and we shall need to be patient with these lads instead of shouting at them when they make mistakes. As Walter said earlier in the week, it can take 2-3 seasons before younger players start to live up to their potential
H1ndy 0
we do need a wee freshening up. i think papac is out of saturday game, i d give Wylde a chance and id also play fleck my team for the sheep is MCgregor Broadfoot weir boughie wylde Naismith davis Mcculloch Fleck Miller lafferty we havent really got good depth but in the game after aberdeen id give game time to hutton, foster , fleck we really need to start using these players to give the current 1st picks a kick up the arse cos sometimes they know however bad they play they will be in next game ie whittaker
Super_Ally 0
H1ndy, whilst seeing Wylde play would be agreeable, Foster, Broadfoot or Whittaker will get played "out of position" ahead of him. Wylde is more likely to play, if at all, at left midfield.

Totti 0
We should give Fleck a run of games just off a main striker. In a midfield 4 he will be wasted. By the way, 2 wingers/attacking wide players and only one defensive minded midfielder is a big risk and will lead to us dropping points in the future.
