I've no problem with us selecting players with limited Scottish connections if they are special but I won't hold my breath on this one. Incidentally, I don't see the point in picking anyone in the SPL outwith the old firm, other than the odd player like Goodwillie. Ach I barely care about our national side anymore anyway, it's as if we're going back to the Vogts era with a lot of random players getting picked and no direction.
