Super_Ally 0
On yersel Walter! That's the kind of comment/statement I was asking for. Not chastising referees, but showing up Celtic.
H1ndy 0
gotta love Walter's statement in the scotsman, quality by the cardigan Asked if his players had been fired up by a sense of injustice as a result of the incident, Smith replied: "Injustice is a strong word to use, isn't it? It is hardly an injustice. The ref said he saw a foul and if he saw it, that's it. If you operate in a tabloid world, then maybe it's an injustice. No doubt we will write to the SFA to ask for an explanation. That's a joke, by the way."
craig 5,199
I think people are missing the point. At no point, and I have reiterated this fact, have I suggested haranguing a referee. I refer to making a statement (or some other move) about Celtic and their attempts to pressure referees and the SFA. What Celtic do should be their business, nothing to do with us. Let them go whatever route they want to as the constantly persecuted. Highlighting their attempts to pressure the referees and SFA should be for the SFA and SPL to do, not us.

And when the SFA/SPL continually neglect to do their job what do we do?
craig 5,199
And when the SFA/SPL continually neglect to do their job what do we do? What will making a statement do to the status quo ? Fuck all. You know that as well as I do. So just what is the point ?
Gazza_8 233
Personally, I thought it was a free kick, a very soft one but a free kick all the same. Naismith gave a little nudge on the St Midden defender and the ref saw it. It happens every week in all leagues all over the world, sometimes you get away with it, sometimes you don't.
