Not only are we competing against the cream of Europe every second week in the CL and maintaining an imperious domestic campaign, not only that, but we're doing all this with practically half the size of squad Celtic have. Both sides have a 100% record this season, but we're doing it under much greater pressure and with a far smaller squad. I don't think this team is being given a quarter of the credit it's due. To quote you elsewhere "Point being that there is no particular conspiracy - just consistently shite journalism which lays in the gutter to sell papers and gain web hits. Gribz 826 Posted October 7, 2010 Share Posted October 7, 2010 We started pretty slowly but there's no doubt we've grown as a unit and we've played some superb attacking football at times. Yeah a couple of 2-1 wins early on was a bit concerning but those teams were fresh and trying to get a good start to their campaign so not too surprising. But agreed some of our attacking play on the break has been a breath of fresh air, we did that against Blackburn Pre Season and for once we carried it into the season where as 2 years ago I remember us playing great stuff pre season and then going back to defensive route 1 when the campaign kicked off.....I much prefer this way of playing and if the defence could tighten up all would be good. I think this is a point me and Pete made on a number of times than not having a poacher to play around would open up play all round and we'd get goals from all over the play just like the season when we scored 102 goals plus then in 04-05 Prso and Novo banging in 40+ between them.
