rbr 1,270
The way we play any of our forwards will only be as good as the service provided , you cannot expect the same midfield to go to the well time after time , if we make any ore from C/L revenue bonuses it must be spent on another midfielder , did Hutton get on , I saw him on the sidelines but wasn't sure he actually got on ?
Frankie 8,677
Nope, Hutton didn't get on. Wylde was warming up with about 10mins to go as well and looked ready to come on about then but I assume the equaliser changed things there.
Danny 0
Personally I think he's been decent but apart from a few technically wonderful moments, he hasn't fully justified the fee yet. He isn't scoring too regularly yet, but does do good work behind Miller in terms of linkup. He's a good team player but right now I don't think he's completely settled in yet.
bluedan 93
Big fan of him, technically he's as good as anyone in our league, in the space of 3 games he's shown us he can over head the ball brilliantly and he's smart enough of a player to already strike up a partnership with Kenny (who of course deserves credit for this also). Going on the early days of his Gers career i think he was well worth the pursuit.
Norris Cole 0
Early days but he was on his way to making a real impact for us. Looked assured from his first game, with a touch of skill we haven't seen at the club for quite a while - his goal against Dunfermline in the League Cup sticks in my mind, total quality. He'll be a big miss. Time for Beattie to step up to the plate and start paying back his £1.5 fee. I've a feeling he'll be more effective up top on his own than Lafferty in the games where we play that system, I can't remember the Ulster Gazelle being trusted with that role for us much at all. Unless he's the Ostenstad of the Smith era, Beattie just needs a goal to get going I think, he can't have lost that quality overnight. Really hope Jelavic is back for the second OF at Ibrox - 4-4-2 / 3-5-2 and goals please.
