Danny 0
I don't see Edu as being a whipping boy but his performances this season have been average at best. He's upped his game for the CL games but I can see why he gets a few pelters from the fans. Is Edu a holding midfielder or an attacking one? He's supposedly a bit of both and more - seemingly they train players to be all rounders in the USA, so if you need to defend, you can, and if you're needed in the middle, you can do that too. He's well known for being a good all round athlete.
Guest christophski
Edu needs to work on his positioning and passing then he could be a great player for us. Great engine he has

rbr 1,270
This is only his third season as a pro , he above all others deserves a wee bit of slack
pete 2,499
Possibly. I get a far better view of the game from my seat than most. maybe your Mr cool sunglasses were too dark you couldn't see him.
chilledbear 16
He does a job, hopefully will improve with more games under his belt. Good at winning the ball, but can just as easily give it away again. Problem is, what are our other choices for central midfield?
Bluedell 5,716
maybe your national health glasses were too crap you couldn't see him. Corrected that for you.
Guest TheWorthyEd
Edu has to me to thank for his fantastic performance last night. He lost the ball early on, and I said "Aw damnit Edu, you're too often ponderous on the ball!" - he clearly heard, because he never lost a ball again all night. Fantastic performance. Wordsworth, is it not? I pondered lonely as a cloud, that floats on high o'er vale and hill, when all at once I saw a crowd, it looks like ASDA's open still. :box:
