maineflyer 0
What momentous new achievements will be mulled over, what great goals embarked upon, as our leaders and betters gather tomorrow? Which chums will be co-opted this time? Squeezed as it is between the papal visit and the Lib Dem conference, I nearly forgot all about it. Breath duly bated in anticipation.
Stimpy 0
Do many attend?
Guest Buzz
The sooner the RST as an organisation is completely revamped and the unsufferable shites that run it flushed out, the better for everyone who bleeds royal blue.
maineflyer 0
Do many attend? I believe it's held in one of the larger phone boxes.
Stimpy 0
I believe it's held in one of the larger phone boxes. LOL Does there have to be a set number in attendance to have an official AGM? Anybody?
maineflyer 0
LOL Does there have to be a set number in attendance to have an official AGM? Anybody? Not unless someone grasses. Anyway they can always follow established practice and co-opt the odd passer-by .. and judging by the current board, some of those passers-by were very odd indeed.
Tannochsidebear 2,429
Just about to leave to go to it, so i'll let you know shall I?
maineflyer 0
Saturday, bears from all over the country are in Glasgow ... no AGM. Sunday, bears from all over the country are all over the country ... RST hold their AGM. Doesn't really take a lot of imagination to see the intention behind the scheduling. Keep is close, keep it tight.
Tannochsidebear 2,429
MF, the AGM's have been held on matchdays, not on matchdays, the close season, mid-season. It doesnt seem to matter when they are held, they are still poorly attended. Also, all members were informed they could forward questions/motions by email if they could not attend. They got 2 questions. It would seem that despite the good work done by some of the board, and there are a number of good bears in there, the ability of the board to attract membership, or even interest, is in quiet decline.

Yes, the operative words being "have been". Not now though. Intrigued to learn what this good work is though, is it a secret?
